Dr. Jedlowski was raised in Tucson and is committed to her community

Dr. Mahdieh Jedlowski is a board-certified dermatologist whose education, medical training, and professional career have been deeply rooted in Tucson. She earned her undergraduate degree, completed pharmacy school, attended medical school, and completed her dermatology residency through the University of Arizona. She also completed her transitional internship at Tucson Medical Center.

This extensive Arizona-based training gave Dr. Jedlowski firsthand experience with the dermatologic needs of patients living in the desert Southwest. Arizona’s intense sun exposure, dry climate, and significant burden of skin cancer create challenges that require local knowledge, careful prevention, and early diagnosis. Her goal is to provide care informed not only by advanced medical training, but also by a lifelong understanding of the community she serves.

Comprehensive Expertise, Close to Home

Dr. Jedlowski holds dual doctoral degrees in medicine and pharmacy, bringing a broad foundation in diagnosis, treatment planning, medication safety, and evidence-based care. She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and holds subspecialty certification in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery.

Her practice encompasses the full spectrum of dermatology, including preventive skin examinations, skin cancer detection and treatment, general dermatologic conditions, complex inflammatory and autoimmune skin diseases, and surgical dermatology.

Whether treating a common rash, managing a chronic skin disorder, evaluating a changing mole, or developing a skin cancer treatment plan, Dr. Jedlowski takes the time to listen, explain the diagnosis, and help each patient make informed decisions about their care.

Educator, Leader, and Advocate for Arizona Medicine

Dr. Jedlowski has an extensive history as a physician educator and academic leader. Prior to opening Willow Dermatology, she served the Program Director of the University of Arizona Dermatology Residency Program. Her commitment to education has also been recognized with the University of Arizona Dermatology Residency Program Faculty Teaching Award. Through teaching and mentorship, she has helped prepare the next generation of dermatologists to care for patients throughout Arizona and beyond. She has also contributed to local outreach through the University of Arizona’s Commitment to Underserved People Dermatology Clinic and provides dermatology course lectures to medical students at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine.

Her approach combines advanced dermatologic expertise with clear communication, empathy, and shared decision-making. Patients are encouraged to ask questions, understand their options, and take an active role in their care.

Caring for the Community That Trained Her
